Mentoring

Having had huge success across the North West of England working as an Outreach Mentor with disengaged pupils and persistent absentees and being able to increase attendance and engagement with many of the pupils I have mentored. 

I have developed a mentoring program which can be delivered to small groups of pupils or as part of a 1:1 intervention strategy. Each pupil is taught how to self-reflect and self-assess which is monitored throughout the programme. The programme can be tailored to each individual student, covering the areas which both the school and the pupil feel will help them develop best, such as;

• Anger management.
• Behaviour management strategies.
• Time management/future planning.

Using this custom mentoring framework, I provide support and activities to assist in the following areas;

As a result, I have been able to help students re-engage with their education or to consider employment pathways, as well as getting their personal lives back on track.
